This site came about as a result of me not finding enough about them online. Never have I seen a site dedicated to the both of them, and I thought they deserved equal representation.
I can imagine vivandlarry.com will always be under construction; there is such a wealth of scattered information about them out there that I don't think one can have a comprehensive understanding of their lives together by reading a few paragraphs or a single book. I am fully aware that they got divorced and there was no happy ending, but despite that, I still find them fascinating. And 20 years of marriage in Hollywood might as well be eternity. Seriously. As you may notice from reading the newsfeed entries on the main page, I do have a sense of humor about the things I like, and while this may sometimes come off as sarcastic or silly, please be aware that I adore and respect Vivien and Larry, and would never be derogatory about them. I do, however, welcome constructive discussions and criticism, and highly encourage visitors to give their input and interact. Also, as the Oliviers' relationship was a very turbulent one, this site seeks to present authentic and original material that discusses both sides of the story in order to give fans a chance to piece together the puzzle of Larry and Vivien's relationship and from there draw their own conclusions about it. So I hope to make this a long lasting tribute to, in my opinion, the classiest, most beautiful couple in all of Old Hollywood.
I hope you enjoy the effort put into designing and maintaining vivandlarry.com, and hope to see you back again and again!
Later,
Kendra
